2008 URS Mentor Information

The Undergraduate Research Scholars (URS) program is entering its eighth year and we invite you to be a part of it. Mentoring provides graduate students and post doctoral fellows with valuable teaching and project management experience. Mentoring also challenges and hones communication skills and, at times, provides you with a warm, fuzzy feeling.

The 2008 URS program will begin the later part of January 2008 and run through the calendar year to finish in December 2008. The application review and interview process will take place in November and mentor/URS matches will be made in early December. We are requesting that all URS research project proposals be received by November 5, 2007.

Please review the URS Proposals Guidelines 2008 document below for detailed information on the research project proposal guidelines. Please remember that a signed faculty approval form must accompany each project proposal.
